A Work of Heart CPR® provides high-quality CPR, First Aid, and AED Training for the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area and the San Francisco Bay area. We are student-focused. We understand that every student learns differently, that’s why we teach with your learning style in mind. Our mission is to educate professional rescuers, and the lay public, on how to prevent medical emergencies, such as a heart attack, stroke, and cardiac arrest. We believe that CPR, First Aid, and AED Training should be fun and stress-free! We are also convenient. We come to you!
WHY LEARNING CPR IS IMPORTANT:

Cardiac Arrest: Sudden cardiac arrest occurs when electrical impulses in the heart become rapid, or chaotic, which causes the heart to suddenly stop beating.
Heart Attack: A heart attack occurs when the blood supply to part of the heart muscle is blocked. A heart attack may cause cardiac arrest.
**Be prepared in the event of an emergency situation.**
Learn How to:
- Recognize when someone needs CPR
- Perform effective chest compressions
- Administer proper breathing techniques
- Recognize a choking victim and administer abdominal thrusts, (aka - Heimlich Maneuver)
FIRST AID TRAINING
Our First Aid Training classes will enable you to help children and adults, in various emergency situations: burns, cuts and scrapes, electrical shock, dislocation, allergic reactions, insect bites, blisters, frostbite ...
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training
Hands-on training with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) that include:
- Steps leading up to using an AED
- How to recognize Cardiac Arrest
- How to effectively apply an AED to the victim
BLENDED TRAINING
**Learn at your own pace. Our blended training method, which combines online training, with hands-on skills sessions, will deliver the latest information in the format that suits you best.
What Blended Training is NOT:
